Naiomi was born and raised in Regina. She began her career in Veterinary Medicine in 2015 as a receptionist and has been a Registered Veterinary Technician since 2021. Naiomi shares her home with her 2 cats, Lennox (who she found at only 2 weeks old and bottle fed!) and Diesel (who is the loudest cat EVER!), as well as her senior, rescue dog, Janis (Joplin).
The thing Naiomi loves most about working in veterinary medicine is working as part of a team to help animals, as well as always being able to learn new things as each day is different. Naiomi also has a special love for the angry and fractious cats!
Outside of work, Naiomi enjoys playing Dungeons and Dragons, reading, watching sci-fi, running, gardening, and singing (she has a great voice!).
If Naiomi could be any animal, she would be a cat – they are independent and being able to jump high sounds like fun!
